The Zeppelin e*spec tire is a specially designed 27.5" rear tire for high-performance e-bikes. Strict requirements for all-wheel drive e-bikes require special tread patterns and body designs. We designed the Zeppelin to provide high volume for support, puncture resistance with an increased contact patch to optimize technical climbing and improve braking.. All this while reducing rolling resistance, increasing service life and providing reliable tubeless air retention at low tire pressures.. Available in 27.5'', the Zeppelin 2.7'' is the perfect choice for a mullet setup when paired with our Grappler or All Terrain tires at the front.. Peculiarities: - The Zeppelin's high volume 27.5" x 2.7'' tire ends the 2.6 vs. 2.8 debate by providing the grip, flexibility, cushioning and support of a wider tire, as well as the ability to run lower air pressures without feeling unstable. - The Zeppelin uses e*thirteen's Endurance Compound, firstly for its 30% longer life and exceptional durability, and secondly for maximum rolling efficiency, which reduces battery consumption. - The E*spec TR features a lighter single-ply nylon carcass with a supportive and puncture-resistant 72 TPI thread count, plus a full nylon belt in the tread and sidewalls for added puncture resistance and tubeless performance.. - The E*spec EN is constructed with a 2-ply nylon casing with 120 TPI for added flex and shock absorption, a full nylon breaker and features our Apex EN sidewall reinforcement.. - Large, sharp center lugs have a slightly paddle-like pattern, providing generous grip with high climbing torque even in loose conditions. The alternating arrangement of the central lugs also improves load distribution across the contact patch, increasing service life and self-cleaning efficiency, as well as improving traction on slippery slabs and roots, while continuing to dig in loose surfaces.. This center lug configuration also helps provide a more predictable feel and consistent grip when transitioning from straight-line traction to aggressive cornering.. - The side shoulder lugs are reinforced to withstand the turning forces of heavier e-bikes.
