The Fuji X100 series is a fixed-focus APS-C camera with a standard lens focal length of 23mm (equivalent to approximately 35mm in full-frame). By attaching the WCL-X100VI and TCL-X100VI, you can expand this standard angle of view to 28mm-50mm (equivalent).
1 | Expand your field of view and overcome focal length limitations. By attaching the WCL-X100VI (wide-angle) and TCL-X100VI (telephoto), the field of view (equivalent to a normal 35mm) is expanded to 28mm-50mm, allowing for greater freedom in composition.
2 | Supports automatic recognition. A magnet inside the lens automatically recognizes the conversion lens when it is attached. After automatic recognition, the camera automatically corrects distortion and aberration to match the lens. The focal length of the conversion lens used is also recorded in the EXIF data, making it easier to manage materials. (Note: The magnification of the digital teleconverter is not reflected in EXIF.)

3｜Natural image quality and comfortable operability
The WCL-X100VI/TCL-X100VI is designed not to impair the imaging power of the original lens, and aberrations such as image flow, field curvature, and image dispersion are almost imperceptible.
The camera's phase-difference AF also functions accurately, allowing for high-precision focusing from single-point AF to area AF.
It can be used seamlessly with both photos and videos, and viewing controls are natural and smooth.
Because it is a front conversion lens, the aperture value (brightness) does not change.

⚠️ Notes (Important)
The silver model of the Fuji X100 series has a tendency for the paint on the front lens frame to peel off easily. As the paint may be rubbed off when a conversion lens is attached, we ask that users of silver models be advised in advance.

① How does the image quality compare to the original? The WCL-X100VI / TCL-X100VI are designed to achieve image quality close to that of the original, and the difference in image quality is very small.
② Can a filter be attached to the front?
Wide-angle lens: φ49mm, filter compatible
Telephoto lens: φ67mm Filter compatible *CPL, variable ND and thick frame filters are not recommended as thick filters may result in dark corners.
③ Can I use it with other lenses?
It can be installed by using a φ49mm external thread → internal thread adapter.
However, since this product has an optical design exclusive to the X100 series, problems such as reduced image quality may occur when using it with other models.
④ Does the aperture value (brightness) change? No. Because it is a front-mounted type, the original aperture value of the camera is maintained.
⑤ Is there any change in the minimum focusing distance? Yes.
WCL-X100VI: You can get a little closer.
TCL-X100VI: The minimum distance is slightly longer.
⑥ How does the automatic recognition work? The camera detects the magnet built into the lens and automatically determines whether it is attached.
⑦ Does it affect autofocus? Almost no. The AF system accurately detects each focus position.
