The earpad cannot fully couple to the headphone base. I have tried fitting the earpad by force but it seems that the design of the male fitting base(the one which connects the earpad to the headphone) is not matching the marshall's female design. Marshall Major II. The issue may be that the original marshalls male connectors have a slight taper design (see photo), while this product's design of male connector does not have a taper. Do not recommend.

I am thrilled. Soft lambskin, beautifully sewn. Perfect fit. To change, simply turn a scant quarter turn to the left and lift off. The plastic base body also fits perfectly, without wobbling or rattling. I can only recommend the item. Was installed on Mid Anc.
