Kenko's representative soft filter "Black Mist" is a filter with extremely fine black diffusing material sandwiched between optical glass. It suppresses the contrast between highlights and shadows, and impressively diffuses the light of night scenes, creating exquisite nuances reminiscent of a scene from a movie. The appeal of Black Mist is that you can get a cinematic feel on the spot without retouching. "Black Mist Protector" is a soft effect equivalent to 1/4 of "Black Mist No. 1" and 1/2 of "Black Mist No. 05".
