White doo-wop group. Formed in Brooklyn, New York in the late 1950s, the group was originally known as The Overons. In 1958, they signed with the LAURIER label, and in 1959, "Hushabye" and "Don't Take the Stars" became national hits. Around 1960, Paul Simon (who would later become famous with Simon & Garfunkel) joined as lead singer, and John "Jay" Trainor (who would become famous with Jay & The Americans) also joined the group.
