A deep, calm color that exudes elegance
The fabric in this series is woven double so that the front and back are different colors. The edge of the fabric is thicker than the women's "Kasane" series, giving it a more gentlemanly, elegant and refined image.
Enjoy the deep overlapping colors of the back thread color faintly showing through to the front. This is a long-selling men's series that offers a variety of colors suitable for both business and everyday use.
"Koshu weave" with a lustrous sheen and a heavy feel
The fabric used is "Koshu weave", woven in Yamanashi Prefecture, a famous textile production region with a history of over 400 years.
Koshu weaving is made by weaving dyed thin threads densely and evenly, resulting in deep, lustrous colors and an elegant, heavy texture, and it continues to boast high quality to this day. The special weaving method, which uses double threads (twisted threads) for the warp and single threads (one thread) for the weft, is a unique feature of Yamanashi textiles, and it is an extremely valuable fabric, as only about 4 meters can be woven per day.
By processing this material into umbrella fabric, the finished umbrella not only has a luxurious feel, but is also highly water-resistant and durable.
Furthermore, since it is woven on a small-width shuttle loom, which is now very rare, there are no perforations on the edges of the fabric (ears), it looks sharp, and you don't have to worry about it fraying even if you use it for a long time.
"Umbrella for both rain and shine" with UV protection
The "Tachibana" fabric is treated with water-repellent and water-resistant processing as well as UV protection (ultraviolet ray protection).
In addition to being fully functional as an umbrella, this umbrella can also be used as a parasol, making it a versatile umbrella for both rain and shine.
