The front of the bag is made of CORDURA POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed by INVISTA. CORDURA POLYCARBONATE is a durable, abrasion- and tear-resistant CORDURA 305D polyester oxford fabric with a polycarbonate coating on the surface, which is more abrasion-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and light-resistant than standard PU coating, and has slower degradation due to hydrolysis, resulting in excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties.
The military-inspired GRID3 "MINI DUFFEL BAG" is a miniature version of the hugely popular "DUFFEL BAG." It weighs just 580g and features an exterior pocket for a water bottle and a zippered pocket for storing earphones and other small items. The back has a quick-detachable carry strap, and the interior features a zippered patch pocket, a key hook for attaching keys, and a PC pocket that can hold an 11-inch tablet. It can be carried in three ways: over the shoulder, across the body with the padded shoulder strap, or by hand using the tape handle on the top gusset.
The CIE original pin label is made of back satin woven on a traditional shuttle loom. The CORDURA label is an original olive-colored woven label approved by INVISTA. The zipper uses a CIE original zinc die-cast puller made by YKK.
The colors available are the unique charcoal-toned "BLACK" made to order by CIE, "OLIVE" inspired by the sage green seen in European military wear, "GRAY NAVY" a low-saturation navy inspired by the Polish military navy, and "LIGHT GRAY" inspired by the pale gray of the all-weather coats used by the US Navy.
