Due to the additional leverage of the GP4 and GP5 bar ends, Ergon does not recommend their use with carbon fiber handlebars.
Glass fiber composite
Replacement bar ends for GP5 and GP5 BioKork grips made of fiberglass composite. Note: For additional leverage, GP4 and GP5 bar ends are not recommended for use with ERGON carbon fiber handlebars. For 2015, new grips are available.
