[Edo Glass]
Edo Glass is handmade glass made using glass-making techniques originating in the Edo period. Currently, only a handful of glass factories remain in Tokyo. It was designated a traditional craft of Tokyo in 2002 and certified as a traditional craft by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2016. Edo Glass is made using traditional techniques such as free-blowing, mold-blowing, and pressing. Each piece of glass is handcrafted by artisans, creating a unique, warm, and unique experience.
