As a result, there may be variations in color, shape, distortion, or splinters. However, all are in good condition, so please use with confidence. Seasonal vegetables and fruits are placed on lotus leaves for offerings. The oxen and horses are displayed as vehicles for welcoming and welcoming the spirits of ancestors and deceased loved ones. The sawdust (hemp stalks) are folded and stacked on a roasting pan and burned during the welcoming and sending-off bonfires. Obon generally lasts from August 13th to 16th. The festival is taken down in the evening of the 16th after the farewell bonfires have finished.
