The car number, skirt formation number, affiliation, ATS, and end markings are pre-printed. The train radio antenna, signal flare, whistle, fuse box, lightning arrester, and jumper plug holder are user-installed. The headlights (warm white), taillights (red), and front destination display (white) light up. Selectable stickers are included for type and destination display (LED), priority seating, low-cooling cars, and wheelchair/stroller marks.

This model train is powered by the rails. No batteries are used to run, illuminate, or light up. Batteries are not included with this product. This product does not use fuel.
