The Nagano Electric Railway 3600 series debuted in 1993, incorporating modified versions of the original 3000 series carriages from the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.
The 3600 series consists of three cars, including an intermediate car. Of the three 3600 series carriages in service, L2 was the last, and saw action in a variety of roles, including as a substitute for express trains and a beer train.
In particular, it ran as the final regular train on the Yashiro Line between Yashiro and Suzaka, which was discontinued in 2012, and its appearance was etched in the hearts of many who mourned its farewell.
Operation ended in September 2020, and the train was stored within Suzaka Station. However, it was sadly decided that it would be scrapped in the fall of 2022, and a farewell event was held on September 19, 2022.
The product features the same direction signs and other details that were exhibited at the farewell event on September 19, and has been produced as a retirement commemorative set.
By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, it can be operated as an N gauge model train.
The recommended power unit is the TM-06R, and the recommended running parts are the TT-04R.
