Features:
USB 3.2 to 5 Gbps Ethernet:
The product is equipped with a Realtek RTL8157 smart chip. RJ45 Ethernet ports support ultra-fast network speeds of up to 5000Mbps (5Gbps), which is 5 times the performance of traditional Gigabit Ethernet adapters, and are backward compatible with 10/100/1000/2500Mbps. Enjoy faster file transfers, smoother video conferences, and seamless media streaming.
Standard:
The Ethernet ports comply with the IEEE 802.3bz (2500/5000Mbps) standard, while the Type-C follows the USB Spec 3.2 standard. This device guarantees optimal performance for various network demands. Please connect to a USB 3.2 or higher port to avoid speed limitations that may arise with USB 2.0/3.0.
Necessary for 5G Speed:
1. Broadband speed must exceed 5Gbps;
2. Modem/Router should support 5G network output;
3. Ethernet cable needs to be of CAT6A or higher grade;
4. Connect to a laptop port that is USB 3.2 or higher. Please download and install the driver software!
Lightweight Design:
This device features a high-quality aluminum alloy casing and internal heat dissipation design, ensuring durability and stability for long-term use. Emphasizing convenience, its compact and lightweight design optimizes space utilization in home, office, or mobile settings.
Compatibility:
Works with Windows 11, Mac OS 10.13.6 to 11. x, Linux Kernel 5. x and above. Driver download and installation may be required on older OS and Kernel versions. NOT compatible with Nintendo Switch, Most Android devices, TiVo Series 2, Wii, or other non-PC/Mac platforms. Not recommended for use with FreeBSD or pfSense.
Usage tip:
Please connect the Ethernet adapter directly to the modem. The connected devices must support USB 3.2, USB 2.0 3.0 ports will limit the maximum network speed. The drivers provided by Realtek for Windows 7 & 10 are not stable, and we do not recommend using them. Windows only recommends Windows 11.
