Clean, green and quietly aromatic, this myrtle essential oil brings the scent of crushed leaves into a diffuser or home fragrance blend. Steam distilled from the leaves of Myrtus communis, it has a clear botanical character that feels bright at first, then settles into something softer and more herbal.
The scent of myrtle leaves
A fresh, leafy aroma with a neat, uncluttered feel.
Bright enough for morning rituals, but gentle enough for a slower evening atmosphere.
Useful when you want a botanical room scent that feels clean rather than sweet.
A simple choice for aromatherapy diffusers, oil burners, and unscented home fragrance bases.
The dark bottle and ribbed black cap keep the format practical and easy to handle.
From Corsican myrtle, steam distilled
This oil comes from the leaves of Myrtus communis, with Corsica given as the source. Steam distillation draws the aromatic compounds from the plant material using water vapour, a traditional method for leafy botanicals where the aim is to capture the plant’s natural scent without pressing or burning it.
Myrtle in Mediterranean tradition
Myrtle has a long place in Mediterranean culture, where the evergreen shrub has been associated with love, beauty and domestic blessing. In Greek and Roman tradition it was linked with Aphrodite and Venus, and myrtle branches were sometimes used in wreaths and ceremonial decoration. Here, that history sits quietly behind the fragrance: a small botanical oil with a clean, green character and a sense of old garden paths, warm stone and leaves touched by light.
How to use it in your space
Add a small amount to a suitable aromatherapy diffuser or oil burner, following the instructions for your device. For skin use, essential oils should be diluted in a carrier oil and patch tested first.
Keep the bottle closed between uses and store it away from heat and direct light. Avoid use during pregnancy, with young children, or around pets unless advised by a qualified profes…
