Matt Garstka's signature Equilibrium HiHat is crafted with a similar concept to the Equilibrium china, a mix of raw, ExtraDry natural finish, a mix of razing, sandblasting, and holes.

The holes in the bottom allow air to escape, resulting in a crisp sound. This versatile hi-hat offers a well-balanced combination of various elements, including a rich, natural-finish top for enhanced tip attack, and raised and sandblasted finishes for a crisp, dry sound without overwarming when opened.
