KATO N gauge Kiha 122 series Line set Railway model Diesel railcar Silver Himeji-Shinjuku 2-car 10-1511

The Kishin Line is a 158km long, non-electrified railway line that runs from Himeji through Kozuki and Tsuyama in Okayama Prefecture to Niimi. The KiHa 122 series is a new series of diesel railcars that began operation in March 2009 as part of the Himeji-Shinjuku Line transportation improvement project. It features an all-stainless steel body with driver's cabs at both ends, combined with a front section made of ordinary steel that follows the design of the 223 series. It operates as a single unit or in two-car formations (normally) on the section from Himeji to Kozuki. It's easy to play with, even with a single-car formation, making it ideal for compact layouts and operation in extremely small spaces. By combining these with various small stations on local lines, you can enjoy the atmosphere of local train lines even more deeply.
