Since its birth in 1983, G-SHOCK has pursued toughness and is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2023 with the limited model "G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary Clear Remix" series. This series reimagines popular G-SHOCK models using clear parts to express an unprecedented transparency. The base design adopts the front button GMA-S 110. It features a special specification commemorating the 40th anniversary with a skeleton material band, case, dial, and buttons. The skeleton case uses transparent glass fiber diamide for the first time. Additionally, the case back features the 40th logo designed by Eric Hayes, who also designed the logos for G-SHOCK's 25th, 30th, and 35th anniversaries, along with a star mark expressing "40" on the loops and buckle, making it a fitting limited model.
