Nike PG 2 EP 'Home Craze' (Unisex) Dark Obsidian / Metallic Silver Basketball Shoes AJ2040 400

As the lead designer of the sneakers, Tony Hardman’s changes for the PG2 are undoubtedly significant. The PG1 featured an inner-boot construction combined with a forefoot strap, delivering excellent snugness and containment; by contrast, the PG2 employs a traditional tongue design. Nevertheless, Paul George still wanted his game shoe to retain superior lockdown, so Tony Hardman incorporated a structure called ‘Dynamic Wings’ in the forefoot section to achieve this goal. Additionally, a webbing strap at the midfoot further enhances overall lockdown and improves fit. Tony Hardman stated: “This design also resolves previous issues—such as when players with narrower feet found the strap overly long.” Through its entirely new design, the PG2 strives to accommodate a wide range of foot shapes.
