Nike Air Max 97 ' Air : Shanghai Kaleidoscope' (Unisex) Ice Blue / Red-White Running Shoes CI1508 400

Design Unveiled: Through his design for the Air Max 97 'SH Kaleidoscope,' Cash (Ru Qiu-shi) became one of the winners of Nike's global 'One Air' Design Competition. Uncover the philosophy behind the 'kaleidoscope' design—see how Cash interprets Shanghai's 'speed' and 'Air' through ever-changing clouds. 'From One comes Two; from Two comes Three; from Three come all things.' Mist swirling around the towering skyscrapers of Lujiazui condenses into clouds, which then transform into rain—evoking the ancient concept of 'Three gives rise to all things,' which inspired the 'kaleidoscope' motif. This idea flows, sublimates, and cycles endlessly, unfolding infinite possibilities of change. The sensation of change is parameterized and layered, deconstructed and integrated into the 'kaleidoscope.' 'Red and blue'—contradiction and conflict, stability and challenge. Cash uses red and blue not only to describe the multifaceted nature of his own personality, but also to highlight the bold red Swoosh against the lake-blue primary color scheme of the 'kaleidoscope.'
