WINKEL Water Finding Paste 100 g is an indicator paste designed to detect the presence of water at the bottom of tanks containing oil, fuel, and other petroleum liquids. The product facilitates a quick check for water accumulation in the tank, which can degrade the quality of the medium, accelerate corrosion, and cause operational problems.
The paste changes color upon contact with water, allowing for a simple, visual reading. It is a practical solution for maintenance, service, fuel depots, workshops, oil management, and plants that store or control technical fluids in tanks.
Applications of WINKEL Water Finding Paste
WINKEL Water Finding Paste is used to check the presence of water in tanks, barrels, and containers containing oils, fuels, or other technical fluids. The product is particularly useful where water may accumulate at the bottom of a tank and is not visible during a standard visual inspection.
The paste can be used for periodic inspections of storage tanks, oil drums, work containers, technical installations, and places where rapid detection of water contamination is important.
What distinguishes WINKEL Water Finding Paste 100 g?
The most important feature of the product is the clear color change upon contact with water. According to commercial data for this product, the paste changes color from green to light pink, making it easier to read the result without specialized measuring equipment.
The 100 g packaging is convenient for inspection and service work. The product can be used as a simple aid in quality control of fuels, oils, and technical fluids stored in tanks.
When to choose WINKEL Water Finding Paste
Choose WINKEL Water Finding Paste when you want to quickly check if there is water at the bottom of a tank, barrel, or container. It is a good choice for those responsible for oil management, fuel storage, tank servicing, intake control, and ongoing system maintenance.
How to use water detection paste
Apply a thin layer of the paste to a measuring device, such as a probe or measuring tape used to inspect the tank. The measuring device is then inserted into the tank so that it reaches the lower zone where water may accumulate.
After removing the paste, check whether the paste has changed color. A color change indicates contact with water and allows you to assess whether there is a layer of water in the inspected area.
What to pay attention to before use
The product is intended to detect the presence of water, not to remove or neutralize it. If the test reveals the presence of water in the tank, further steps should be selected based on the type of medium, tank design, and procedures in force at the given plant.
Before use in responsible applications, check the manufacturer's current TDS and SDS and ensure that the test method is consistent with the internal measurement procedure.
