The word Piercing comes from the English "to pierce". The navel piercing (also referred to as a belly button piercing) is a piercing made on the edge of the navel. It is usually the upper part of the edge of the umbilicus which serves as a support for the piercing, the position of the piercing nevertheless depends on the creativity of the piercer. The navel piercing is nowadays mostly worn by women. It is a visible perforation in the face that pierces the skin at the level of the brow bone. The arch piercing is generally a barbell, a micro-banana, and/or a ring with a diameter of 1.2 mm placed vertically over the eyebrow.
