Tajima Glass Co., Ltd. was founded in 1956 by Matsutaro Tajima as a glass tableware manufacturing factory in Koto Ward, Tokyo. In 1962, the company established its own factory in what is now Matsue, Edogawa Ward, and began producing commercial tumblers, wine glasses, and other items. For half a century, the company has continued to produce glass products that are in line with the trends of the times, each one carefully handcrafted by skilled craftsmen. This product won the Grand Prix and the Japan Tourism Agency Commissioner's Award at the 2015 Souvenir Grand Prix. Its popularity continues today, even after 2015, stems from its high level of perfection. It's a beautiful, handcrafted piece that makes you want to keep it for the rest of your life. The Mount Fuji design at the bottom of the glass is hand-blown, showcasing the skill of Edo glass artisans. The appearance changes depending on the drink you pour. The color of the drink you pour is reflected on the surface of Mt. Fuji. You can enjoy the various expressions of Mt. Fuji. "What kind of drink should I pour today...?"
