Nishijin-ori Gold Brocade Kaishi Case with Scissors for Tea Ceremony, Hatsugama, and First Practice (Shippo)

This is a kaishi case that can hold women's kaishi size. Not only can it be used as a kaishi case and silk cloth scissors, but it can also be used for a variety of other Japanese accessories such as a prayer bead case, a small envelope case, an oil blotting paper case, or a bankbook case. It has a thick double-layered core to prevent the kaishi from folding, so it is flexible yet maintains its shape. The fastener uses a suede leather cord and genuine leather parts. Cotton or silk cords tend to come undone easily, but the elasticity of suede makes it less likely to come undone.
