This model recreates the Hokutosei, a mixed-use train of JR Hokkaido and East Japan cars, in its appearance from 2011 onwards, when car 2 was changed to an open B-class sleeping car. A new TR217 (with cylinder) has been produced with a modified current collecting shoe. The Ohanefu 25-0 series recreates the appearance with external gutters. The JR markings on the Ohanefu 24-500 series are selectable, allowing you to recreate numbers 501 and 502. The Suhane 25-500 series recreates the three-striped cars. The Sushi 24-500 series has a newly produced ventilator recreated as a separate part. The Sushi 24-500 series table lamp recreates the appearance after later changes. Each car is equipped with a new AU76/77 type air conditioner, with JR Hokkaido cars recreated in grey and JR East cars recreated in silver. The Ohanefu 25-0 series is pre-installed with a TN coupler on the conductor's compartment side. The Kani 24-500 series comes with a replacement TN coupler on the conductor's compartment side. The taillights and train markings are equipped with constant-lighting boards, while the Ohanefu 25-0 series has an ON-OFF switch. The taillights and train markings are illuminated by white LEDs. The "Hokutosei" train marking is printed on it. The Ohanefu 24-500 series does not have a printed train marking or light board. The car number is customizable and a transfer sheet is included.
