----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reviews of Classical Semi-Nude Woman Oil Painting on Canvas-Deformed ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, The ad shows a very elegant model, with harmonious proportions. According to the image in the ad, it is a format width/height=w/h=2/3=0.666 or h/w=3/2=1.5 . So w=h*2/3=0.666*h (this is probably the 60*90cm option). The product was ordered in l*h=70cm*120cm, and it must therefore have a ratio l/h=1.71 (or h/l =0.58). If the proportions of the image are respected, the reproduced width being narrower, it is necessary to crop the image on the sides (otherwise, reproduce more in height if the original allows it). Very surprisingly, unfortunately, it is on the sides that we have on the contrary added the image (cf the additional stones which appear there) and we have therefore represented more image on a proportionally smaller poster width. ! So the enlarged image is stretched even more proportionally in height: it is awful, distorts the face, emaciates and lengthens the body ... giving the overall impression of this person being an anorexia patient. ! Such an error denotes an ignorance of the graphic arts, or even a contempt for beauty. It borders on the death penalty. ! And for me, this poster is unusable; because I could never display on the wall such a sick person, with such a depressing sight. ! Very distinguished greetings. Dr. Jacques Jean-Luc PS The plate and the cup in the photo IMG_6589 show that the camera respects the proportions of the objects well... and that it is therefore the 70*120cm version which distorts the image..
