All are urethane-covered, three-piece construction. By designing different compression settings optimal for each golfer, you can achieve a comfortable feel, stable trajectory, and maximum distance. "Compression" refers to the amount of deformation when a ball is subjected to a 200 lbs load. This was determined through a lengthy development process based on PGA compression measurements [compression = 180 - (deformation x 1,000)]. Compression is one of the most important factors when choosing a golf ball. If the ball is too hard for your head speed, it will not generate enough rebound force due to deformation at impact.
