The VU meter's needle not only moves in real time according to the strength of the music signal, but its color can also be changed via the settings on the back. You can change the display color to blue, red, green, etc., to match your mood or the lighting of your room. The vacuum tube is socketed, making it easy to replace with compatible tubes such as the 6J1 or GE5654W. With each listen, the warm orange light and the dancing VU meter needle enhance your immersion in the music visually.
High-resolution playback delivered by a high-end chipset, fully compatible with LDAC/DSD256: At the heart of its sound quality are the QCC5125 Bluetooth chip, SA9137L USB controller, ESS9018K2M DAC chip, and TPA6120 headphone amplifier chip. Bluetooth connectivity supports LDAC and aptX HD, achieving high-quality transmission of up to 24bit/96kHz wirelessly. When using USB input, it can natively play high-resolution audio sources of PCM 384kHz/32bit and DSD256 (Native/DoP). Optical/coaxial input also supports up to 192kHz/24bit. This allows you to enjoy all audio sources, from smartphone streaming to high-resolution files on your PC, at the highest resolution.
Powerful headphone output and a pure vacuum tube preamplifier circuit. The headphone amplifier section employs the TPA6120, supporting a wide range of headphone impedances from 16Ω to 600Ω. With a maximum output of 750mW@32Ω, it can easily drive even high-impedance studio monitor headphones. Meanwhile, the preamplifier circuit has a unique design that boosts the input signal voltage to 100V before supplying it to the vacuum tube. This maximizes the "warmth," "rich midrange," and "extended high-frequency" characteristics of the 6J1 series vacuum tube. The signal that passes through the vacuum tube adds analog emotion and depth to digital sound sources, resulting in a comfortable musical experience that doesn't cause fatigue even after listening for extended periods.
Unparalleled input/output versatility, all analog outputs operating simultaneously: The P1 PLUS supports six inputs: Bluetooth, USB, optical digital, coaxial digital, stereo RCA, and 3.5mm AUX. It also features four outputs: optical digital, stereo RCA, 3.5mm AUX, and 3.5mm headphone. Notably, all analog outputs (RCA, AUX, and headphones) operate simultaneously regardless of the selected input source. This allows you to listen to headphones while simultaneously outputting to a recording device, or build a multi-channel system that drives multiple amplifiers or active speakers simultaneously without plugging and unplugging cables.
Thoughtful operability and customization: The front panel features tone knobs that allow you to adjust the bass and treble by ±10dB each. You can intuitively change the sound balance to suit your music genre and preferences. With the included infrared remote control, you can control all functions from a distance, including input switching, volume adjustment, VU meter color change, and mute. In addition, the two standard NE5532 op-amps are replaceable, allowing you to fine-tune the final tone by swapping them out for your preferred dual op-amps such as the OPA2604 or MUSES02. All of this is condensed into a sleek metal body that fits beautifully into your desktop or audio rack.
